“The Cut-Out Bin Project”

Back in the day of the Record Store [and ESPECIALLY when I was in College – I could pick up albums CHEAP!!!!] there was usually a box or area called the Cut-Out section. This is where albums that were sent as demos, or to radio stations, ended up – that had either a corner of the record jacket trimmed off, or the cover was defaced in some way to indicate it was not for the retail market.

The Cut-Out Bin Project is a collection of tracks that have been laying around my computer for a while – most were recorded live, and are too good to just toss but not good enough for an official release. So I decided to pull them together and “unofficially” release them anyway.

You’ll be able to listen to most of them over at the “Listen to Tom” section of the website – EVENTUALLY. I’ve got to go get equipment ready for a performance……

BUT if you’d rather not wait, you can listen right now over at my last.fm album page —>  last.fm/music/Tom+Rule/The+Cut-Out+Bin+Project
