Joey and I will be back slaving behind the mixing board working on the CHRISTmas album tomorrow.
Mixing is tedious but VERY interesting. I personally enjoy dealing with all the options and what-ifs that we go through as we try to create the best sound for the tune.
It takes, for a simple song like the solo piano stuff for the album, about 3 hours per 3-4 minute song. The band tunes will take up to 6, depending on how creative we want to get……and we’ll hear each song dozens of times.
Good thing I like the stuff I recorded!
