Had a quick minute to pop into here and post a couple of random tidbits…….
- Have been adding some episodes of the podcast that will show up in the MusicStuff section of the site over the next few weeks. Selected episodes are being played on Joey Stuckey’s AudioStyle music magazine – and they are posted in advance [name your own price!] over in the TR Music Store.
- Each episode begins with a different bumper – it’s been fun over the past several months collecting people introducing the podcast. I’ve got several piano students, a retired Army Chaplain [a Colonel, no less!], several musicians, my music appreciation class, and [of course!] family members.
- Also in the Store is a new “album” Preludes: Live & Improvised. It’s a still growing collection of short live recordings of hymn-based improvs performed before services at First Presbyterian in Macon. Take a listen and let me know what you think!
- Lots of short-term projects on deck – a Chamber Singers concert [I’m the accompanist and will be recording the event], a wedding in the family, an upcoming gig with the fabulous Boudleaux Allen [jazz guitar], and several audio editing projects to get done and posted.
- Plus the BIG long-term project I’m working on – PraiseBandPiano.com. I’m creating a resource for people who want to learn how to play keys in a band, and for bandleaders who are looking to have a training resource for their keyboard player.
