Another “hey, look what I found while clearing out my hard drives” tidbit. Since it’s my birthday month, I thought I’d post it!
Back in the fall of 2007 I replied to an email looking for people to be interviewed for a story about homecoming. That was the fall that my oldest son Caleb went off to college – and at the same time my Father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer AND my grandfather was starting to go downhill health-wise. The simultaneous dichotomies struck me – beginning and endings.
