Had a ball yesterday over at the Jazz on Riverdale Festival. Heard some EXCELLENT music from K’mo, the Joey Stuckey Band (where I was asked to sit in on a couple of tunes on a genuine B3 – SWEET!), and the Monty Cole quintet.
Sure was nice to hear Boudleaux Allen, Steve Chanin, and several other Middle Georgia Legends.
They’d be embarrassed if they knew I just called them legends, though!
This was a Jazz Association of Macon event. Pretty cool!
