The CutOut Bin Project

You’ll be seeing some regular posts for the next few months as I crank up work on the new album [release date will be Fall 2015 – the target is mid-October].

In the meantime, I’m actually working on several OTHER album projects that are not as big a deal – i.e. much less complicated to pull together. These are primarily revolving around live recordings I’ve had laying around the studio.

,,,,,,and as usual, Tribe members get first crack at my latest work!

The CutOut Bin Project has tracks that aren’t quite good enough to release “officially”, but are too good to just delete. These were recorded Live. As always, you can check out the “official” releases over at www.TomRule.info/store

Here’s your first track from the CutOut Bin Project:

This is solo piano version of a song from tom&co’s album Seasons – where I asked the question “What if I Surrender All was written in a smoky old-time jazz club”? It’s still a cool arrangement – and I think I did it justice here. This is the longer version.
