What do YOU think?

I ran across a service on submithub.com that uses AI to “determine” what style a track is or is similar to, with varying desgrees of confidence. Naturally, I was curious – partly becaue of the technology, but mainly because I am TERRIBLE at describing what I create. I never know what “Style” I work in – calebrule.com says it is “Jazz and Classical with a touch of Lounge“, which sounds cool but I’m not sure what that sounds like.

My current attempt at describing what I create is to compare it to this situation:

What would you get if you put Dave Brubeck, George Winston, Spyrogyra, Mozart, Haydn, Debussy, and Larry Fast in a recording studio that was next to a church with a killer pipe organ cranked to 11?

To that end, once a month for a while I’ll be posting the conclusion that the AI came up with, along with a link to the track in question. Feel free to come to your own conclusion!
